Incantation

Le chant en sanskrit est plus chargé d'encens et d'hindouisme. Il est néanmoins à coup sûr et à tout le moins chargé de sensations...

Mettant de l'ordre à ce sujet, il y a des années, j'ai enlevé l'incantation prescrite par mon école pour la remplacer par celle-ci qui était moins chargée.

Le premier son ou mot n'en reste pas moins très pesant, bien qu'anodin par chez nous. De nombreuses traductions de cette incantation passe à la 3ème personne du singulier (Qu'il nous protège", glissant un petit Brahman ou autre divinité à la source de l'imprécation... Pourquoi?

Nous ne garderons de cela que la partie hygiénisée: ce(s) son(s) nous ser(t)vent à entrer dans une attitude différente: c'est le signal du début d'une nouvelle façon d'accorder notre attention à ce que nous faisons.

Par ailleurs, le côté "vibration" (utilisé également dans la respiration dite "du bourdon") est aussi très intéressant: voilà un autre artifice qui ouvre une porte (le premier ajouté étant la respiration), peu envisagée dans nos pays.

La question que je laisserai pendante ici est la suivante : "Arriverez-vous à un état d'être différent lorsque, seul, vous fermez les yeux, et entonnerez ce son [AUM], une dizaine de fois?"

Quant à moi: sensationnel!

The Taittirīya Upanishad (Devanagari: तैत्तिरीय उपनिषद्) is a Vedic era Sanskrit text, embedded as three chapters (adhyāya) of the Yajurveda. It is a mukhya (primary, principal) Upanishad, and likely composed about 6th century BC .

It lists as number 7 in the Muktika canon of 108 Upanishads. The Taittirīya Upanishad is the seventh, eighth and ninth chapters of Taittirīya Āraṇyaka, which are also called, respectively, the Śikṣāvallī, the Ānandavallīand the Bhṛguvallī.

This Upanishad is classified as part of the "black" Yajurveda, with the term "black" implying "the un-arranged, motley collection" of verses in Yajurveda, in contrast to the "white" (well arranged) Yajurveda where Brihadaranyaka Upanishad and Isha Upanishad are embedded.

The Upanishad includes verses that are partly prayers and benedictions, partly instruction on phonetics and praxis, partly advice on ethics and morals given to graduating students from ancient Vedic gurukula-s (schools), partly a treatise on allegory, and partly philosophical instruction.
